About the artist

Peggy Frey was born in Arlington Heights, Illinois. She attended Northern Illinois University and received her Master of Fine Art degree from the University of Florida.

Her interests in art and Native American anthropology, archeology and oral traditions are melded together throughout her history.

Peggy has displayed her work at numerous solo and group shows in Texas, Florida and Illinois. Although she primarily uses the visual arts to express her talent, her singing debut in 1996 has led to various outlets for her vision.

Peggy lives in Dallas, Texas, with her husband, the musician Lee Fortune, and their two cats, Darkness and Louie.
